A GoFundMe has been created to assist Salmeron's family with funeral expenses. As of Thursday, Aug. 24, more than $4,115 had been raised.
"Anyone that knew Stanley would say he was a loyal friend, devoted father and caring son who had a unique way of making people laugh all of the time," Emily Guevara, who created the fundraiser said.
Any funds remaining after his funeral expenses will go toward his daughter, according to the fundraiser.
